switching gears

today is january 1.yup.another fresh start.honestly, i love the feeling of welcoming a new year. it made me feel hopeful like i actually am able to achieve something without being sarcastic.but i know damn well it ain't gonna last.every january 1 i spend seems so rountinary: i make a list, stick to it for at least 3 days then totally forget it by the next day and soon after that i regret not following it because each and every time a new year passes...i don't get any better. so i swore that this year my life is switching gears to a major makeover. a REALLY major makeover.i already started by cleaning out the clutter in my desk(remodeled it to something bearable to the eyes of my guest), actually finishing the scrapbooks i had started in the past, and fianlly taking the plunge to wear shorts and skirts in public(wahoo!). i just wish i can keep this up. anyway...today, my kuya and I had this conversation about alanis..u know the singer who became popular because of shouting. i told him that everyone is a singer in his/her own right and that I also have the so called "talent" to become as famous as her. you know what he did...he freaking laugh at me and said: "aj..ang tawag dun talent, gifted siya hindi katulad mo na walang talent sa singing...tone deaf pah!". i didn't take it as an insult kasi alam ko that we were simply joking around so i laughed too!pero at least i did learn that i don't have the voice but surely i have the moves..!!??dbah??oh well..okay na sa akin ang title na "diva in the making" bstah wag lang ako pakakantahin...hahahahahah!!!
